Activity of the agent

The agent is authorised by the landlord (owner of the holiday home) to conclude the rental agreement, to process it and to carry out all legal acts and transactions in connection therewith.

Booking

The rental contract is only concluded when we have received a booking confirmation from you in writing, by fax or by e-mail within five calendar days of sending the reservation confirmation (the date stated in the reservation confirmation applies). Should it due to time constraints not be possible to send you a reservation confirmation or to receive a booking confirmation from you in writingwriting, by fax or by e-mail, the rental contract can also be concluded bindingly by telephone. We explicitly point out that only one parking space per apartment is available. In the event of the short-term sale of the rented apartment by the apartment owner, the agent is entitled to provide an equivalent replacement apartment.

Payment

The deposit of 20% of the total price stated on the booking confirmation is due within 14 days of booking. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival or at our office on the day of arrival. The agent does not accept credit cards. Please indicate the transaction number in the transfer form. Bed linen and towels are not included in the total price, but can be rented separately for a fee. By request in advance, linen will be put on the beds. With your booking you will receive a travel security voucher, which must be kept until your departure.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation up to 42 days before the day of arrival, cancellation fees of 10% of the rental price (but at least 35.00 euros) will be charged, which will not be refunded. Beginning with the 41st day before the day of arrival, the full rental price is due, if no other rental can take place. Cancellation must be made in writing. In your interest, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

Arrival and departure times / Handover of keys

For arrivals from Monday to Friday the keys are handed over from 15.00 to 17.00, Saturdays from 14.00 to 16.00, Sundays and on public holidays from 13.00 to 14.00. In special cases on peak days delays may occur. The apartment must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. Exceptions can only be made according to prior agreement. The keys will be handed over in our office at Cuxhavener Str. 81.

General obligationsn

For you and your companions the house rules in the holiday apartment apply. You and your companions obligate yourself to treat the holiday home and the inventory in it with care. All inventory items that have been damaged or lost during your stay must be replaced by you. You also have to pay for any damage to property inside the apartment.

Loss of the apartment key

The holiday complex has a central locking system. If you or an accompanying person lose a key, you have to bear the costs for a spare key. The agent and the owner of the holiday home are entitled to demand the cost of a new lock suitable for this locking system, including keys and installation costs.

Liability

Neither the agent nor the owner of the holiday home assume liability in the event of
a) loss and theft of objects and damage to property brought in by the lessee
b) theft and damage to motor vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, etc. of the lessee, even if they are parked in the designated parking area.
The liability of the agent or the owner of the apartment remains in force if damages are based on a grossly negligent breach of duty of the agent or owner of the apartment or on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty of a legal representative or vicarious agent of the agent or owner of the apartment.

Pets

Pets may only be brought along after prior consultation with the agent.

Other

The visitor's tax of the city of Cuxhaven will be charged separately upon your arrival.
